Paul Laffin is a former political research advisor in the European Parliament now working in the private sector. Paul studied at Trinity College in Dublin before reading for his Masters in Environmental and Social policy at Oxford University. While at Oxford he represented the University in their annual colours rugby match against Cambridge University.
Prior to his time in Oxford he played professional rugby in France for three years.
In 2005 Paul retired from professional rugby to pursue a career in public affairs. He still plays rugby and is an integral part of the Brussels Barbarians first team.
