Paul Hosie

Paul Hosie is one of the most experienced and well known contemporary Cave Diving explorers in Australia. Paul gained his Cave Diving qualification in 1997. In 2002 he was awarded the OZTek Technical Diver of the Year at OzTek3. Over the past ten years, Paul has been involved in the discovery and mapping of over 10,000m of new cave passages in Australia. This has included the exploration of remote cave diving sites in Australia including Kija Blue Sinkhole in Australia's Kimberley region (ADM Issue 24/2006 [1]). Paul has been recognised as a member of the Word Exploration Team of Divers in Advanced Diver Magazine [2]In 2007 Paul was awarded the Jeff Butt exploration award from the Australian Speleological Federation (ASF). This award recognised his extensive contribution towards exploration of wet caves in Australia.
