Paul Habibi

Paul Habibi (born in 1972 in Los Angeles, CA) is an American real estate entrepreneur and business school professor.
Paul is Principal and Co-Founder of Habibi Properties, LLC, one of the largest private multi-family housing owners in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, with nearly 2,000 apartment units under ownership and management.[1] Together with his brother Mark Habibi, Paul acquires, develops and manages multi-family and mixed-use real estate projects throughout Southern California.[2] Habibi Properties also invests in various hospitality ventures, such as Tinto Tapas, a Spanish tapas bar and restaurant located in West Hollywood, CA.[3]
As Lecturer at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, Paul teaches real estate to MBA and undergraduate students, and also serves as faculty advisor for all real estate case competitions. Paul has taught at UCLA since 2004.[4]
Paul previously worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Banc of America Securities LLC, and prior to that worked as Manager of Transaction Support with The Walt Disney Company. Paul began his career as an Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen.[5]

Paul is frequently interviewed and quoted as a real estate expert for various publications, such as the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle[6], Los Angeles Business Journal[7], California Real Estate Journal, Daily Breeze[8], Los Angeles Magazine[9], Curbed LA[10], Santa Monica Daily Press, LA Weekly.
He regularly speaks at various real estate and entrepreneurship events, and recently appeared on a panel entitled "Getting To the Top," alongside Dennis Tito, Kerry McCluggage and Jarl Mohn.[11].
Paul has also been featured on various local and national news segments, such as the NBC Evening News and KTLA Prime News.

Paul holds a BA in Business Economics from U.C. Santa Barbara and an MBA with High Distinction[12] (under Merit Scholarship) from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, Paul won the David T. Shelby Award for his leadership of the Wolverine Venture Fund. Paul is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and California Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
