Paul Garson

Paul Garson was born on March 7, 1946 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is the son (and heir) of Jefferson Sherry-Garson, a French billionaire, and Louise Ann Margret. He has contributed to many newspapers and magazines as a writer and photographer and has written several novels.

Garson was born in Florida to a wealthy Franco-American family best-known for their steel trading and merchandising firm. He was raised in West Palm Beach, Florida and attended undergraduate school at Tulane University. Garson completed graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University.
He has one son, Grant, with his first wife whom he divorced in 1995.

Paul Garson started writing from an early age. In 1973, he wrote his first science fiction novel titled The Great Quill, published by Doubleday. In 2005, Garson published Born to Be Wild which cataloged the history of the motorcycle. He has authored over 2000 articles for various automotive and motorcycle magazines among other genres.
