Paul Elie

Paul Elie (b. 1965) is an American writer and editor.
His book The Life You Save May Be Your Own: An American Pilgrimage received a 2004 National Book Critics Circle Award nomination. Since 1993 he has been an editor at Farrar, Straus and Giroux. He is also a long-time contributor to the Catholic journal Commonweal.
Born in New York, he holds a B.A. from Fordham University and an M.F.A. from Columbia University.
