Paul Chua

Paul Chua (born Singapore September 2, 1941) is an internationally renowned bodybuilding official. Having worked his way up as a smalltime unionist and secretary of an insignificant badminton club in Singapore, Chua used his political skills to worm his way up to the highest echelons of the IFBB.
He is the vice president of the International Federation of BodyBuilders for Asia, the secretary general and treasurer of the Asian Bodybuilding Federation and president of the South East Asian Bodybuilding Federation.
He is an advocate of drug-free sport and was awarded the Order of Seri Melaka in 2001 for his services to the bodybuilding sport.
In 2006, Paul was elected as the Executive Assistant to the newly elected president of the IFBB, Rafael Santonja.
In 2007, serious allegations of fraud and contest fixing for profit has been made against Chua by various parties in particular the website, www.arrestpaulchua.com
Allegations of criminal misappropriation of funds due to bodybuilders under his charge, in particular Azman Abdullah and Jojo Sinclair emerged in the nineties, culminating in a civil suit filed by the two bodybuilders against Paul Chua in the Singapore Supreme Court. This suit was eventually settled out of court by Chua and the case was withdrawn.
