Paul Smith (born November 28, 1990 in Inverness,Scotland), is a 17-year-old Scottish footballer who plays for Clachnacuddin F.C. in the Highland League in Scotland.
Smith is a promising young left back who was originally in both Aberdeen's and Inverness Caley Thistle's youth teams before moving to Clach in 2004. He has featured recently in the Geusselt Cup in Maastricht (2007) with the Clach u17s team and the Schwan's USA Trophy (2007) in Minnesota with the Clach u19s team.
In 2007, Smith won the Schwan's Trophy, ending the campaign with a 7-4 victory over SPCAA Juventus. [1]
He has currently won awards for; "Clachnacuddin F.C. Youth Development U17 Player of the year 2007", "Clachnacuddin F.C. Youth Development Under 17 Most Improved Player 2005-06" and most notably "Clachnacuddin F.C. Young Player of the year". He has already made three appearances for the Clachnacuddin first team as a substitute.
