Since 2004-07-25, I have been teaching English as a second language in Japan as a participant in the JET Program. My employer is the Prefectural Board of Education of Iwate, and I am posted at 岩手県立遠野高等学校, the only academic senior high school in Tōno.
I was born and lived most of my life in Montréal.
[edit] Current projects
- Tōno - Having lived there for over two and a half years, I should really work on it...
- Iwate Prefectural Tōno Senior High School ( a.k.a. Tōno Kōkō a.k.a. Enkō - Having had the chance to dig up through 100 years of the school's history for documentary purposes, I've got enough to make an article of high quality! The school is well known throughout Japan for its soccer team, and (less so) for its annual "Rabbit Hunt"...
