What is PataKaro? PataKaro is India’s first and largest people search engine. Its goal is to connect people with their lost friends, relatives and acquaintances.
Users can find contact information of others and also leave a message for other people. PataKaro profile helps other people to find you. You can create a profile for yourself, your friends or relatives to ensure that they may also be easily found online. To create a PataKaro profile you need to register (free of cost) to become a full contributor which allows you to add, update, and delete profile. It will also allow you to leave and view messages.
How can I search by a particular location? You can use the PataKaro search bar to search by location but it is mandatory to enter the name of the person you are trying to find.
How can I search by name? You can use the PataKaro toolset to search by a combination of first and/or last name. Type the names in the respective fields and click on the "Search" button.
Registration
Why do I need to register? PataKaro allows users to perform searches without registering. To control the process, the users need to register to add, update or delete profile. Also for tracking purpose, the users need to register to view and leave messages.
How can I register? Registration is open and free. Click the "register" link on any page and follow the instructions to quickly become a registered user.
Profile
How can I create a new PataKaro Profile? If you want to create a new profile for someone, please make sure that PataKaro doesn't already have one for that person. Anyone can create a new profile by clicking the "add profile" link.: all you need is the person's full name, a known location.
How can I submit or edit information on a PataKaro profile? Everyone can browse through PataKaro or create new profiles. However, in order to edit or submit information on existing profiles you need to be a registered user. PataKaro will prompt you to log in to your account when you attempt to make changes to a profile. After you have logged in, you can easily edit the information. Submitting links into the correct categories ensures easy navigation on the profile.
How can I delete a PataKaro profile? There are two reasons for which you may request to delete a profile: if it is your profile and for whatever reason you absolutely do not want the online information featured in it to be publicly displayed on PataKaro, or if it has come to your attention that the profile is a duplicate and PataKaro already has a profile for the same person. We welcome you to contact our team at contact@patakaro.com with a link to the specific profile and the reason for removal and we will take it from there.
I am a user of PataKaro, but when I try to edit a profile I get a message that my IP is blocked. Why does this happen and what should I do? PataKaro.com maintains a strict Spam-free policy. If you feel that your IP Address is being blocked unfairly, you can contact us to request that you be un-banned. We will then investigate on the matter and un-ban your IP address if we determine that you did not violate our policies.
What are banned profiles? If a PataKaro.com profile is found to contain inappropriate or offensive material, it may be banned, which means that it will no longer show up in search results, and its details will likewise no longer be visible. Contributions
How is my activity on PataKaro tracked? Every time you try to make edits to a PataKaro profile, you will be prompted to log in to your account. From there forward, every trace you leave on PataKaro will be recorded: be it adding a new profile while you are logged in, editing someone's profile.
How are my contributions to PataKaro monitored? Any information you submit is not immediately visible to the public. Our admins review the content for appropriateness and spelling. As soon as our admins approve it, the information will appear on the profile you have submitted it to.
How can I report abuse? If you spot offensive content on a PataKaro profile, please report it to us immediately. You can send us email at contact@patakaro.com to describe the nature of abuse with name and city on the profile, and we will review the given profile immediately.
