Patrick Lussier is a horror and thriller genre writer, editor and director.

Patrick Lussier has worked as a film editor on most of Wes Craven's latter films, including Scream and Wes Craven's New Nightmare and has directed films including Dracula 2000, The Prophecy 3: The Ascent and White Noise 2: The Light. Most recently he edited and acted as a visual consultant on the Lionsgate Films remake The Eye starring Jessica Alba. He's also credited as a visual consultant on Whisper and Darkness Falls amongst others.

In 1994 Lusser was nominated in the Annual Gemini Awards for "Best Picture Editing in a Dramatic Program or Series" for: Adrift and in 1995 he was nominated for "Best Picture Editing in a Dramatic Program or Series" for Heads.

In 1996 he edited the Doctor Who TV film and was praised by that film's producer for the extreme speed at which he was able to edit.[citation needed]

Lussier has been announced as director of the movie Condition Dead (2008) and the adaptation of Michael Slade's Headhunter, produced by Brightlight Pictures and adapted by Wil Zmak. He is currently working on a 3D remake of My Bloody Valentine for Lionsgate films, written by Zane Smith and Todd Farmer.

Lussier is married and his son Devin Lussier is following in his father's footsteps, and he is currently the First Assistant Editor on Quarantined for Screen Gems.
