From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Patrick Carey was a Benedictine Monk in the 1600s who is probably best known as the first author of triolets in English. His first book, "Trivial Things and Triolets" uses three forms of triolets and was apparently either used or edited by John Milton.
