Patrice Baldwin

Patrice Baldwin is Chair of National Drama[1], the leading subject association for UK drama and theatre educators She is also the National Director of D4LC (Drama for Learning and Creativity)[2].

Patrice has been a Primary Headteacher and is now Adviser for Arts Development and Improvement for Norfolk County Council[3], Children's Services. She has worked as a BBC series consultant for "Let's Make a Story" and has been a BBC Education scriptwriter for schools drama and assembly programmes.

Baldwin has written several books for teachers on the use of drama for learning. She is author of "Stimulating Drama", "The Drama Box", "The Drama Book", Teaching Literacy Through Drama - creative approaches"[4] and "With Drama in Mind - real learning in imagined worlds." Her next book is due out in Sepember 2008 and is "The Primary Drama Handbook" followed by "School Improvement Through Drama" in 2009.

Patrice is a well established drama national and international workshop leader and keynote speaker on both drama and Creativity[5].
