Patagonic Archipelago
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Patagonic Archipelago is an archipelago in the southwest of coast of South America covering about one third of Chiles coast. Situated between Chacao Channel and Drake's Passage it covers large parts of Chilean Aisén and Magallanes Region. Due to its position between the south Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific it has strategic waterways such as the Strait of Magellan and Beagle Channel.
