Pat Wictor is a Venezuelan-born American blues and folk musician, guitarist, singer/songwriter, and recording artist. His father's career in the oil industry led to his family living in not only Venezuela but also, Holland, Norway, Texas, and England before returning to the US in his teenage years. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.

His career as a musician was interrupted by two other careers. The first was a stint as an activist; working on electoral reforms, opening up the ballot to independent candidates and opening up the debate process. He then became a high school global studies teacher.

Before finding his metier in folk and blues Mr. Wictor played rock, heavy metal and jazz. He started playing the guitar, switched to the bass, then the saxophone before returning to his original instrument.

He was a winner of the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival New Artist Showcase in 2006 and as such toured on the 2007 Falcon Ridge Preview tour along with Red Molly and Ellis. He was a finalist in the prestigious 2007 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Competition. He was also nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year in 2006 by the Folk Alliance.

Pat's ethereal style has led to him being called a "Zen Bluesman" by John Platt of WFUV.

While primarily a solo artist he often is accompanied by percussionist Cheryl Prashker.
