Pat McCarty

Jonathan Patrick "Pat" McCarty (born January 24, 1982) is an American professional racing cyclist currently riding for Team Slipstream.
McCarty grew up in Allen, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. At the age of 11 years old, McCarty's older brother went off to college leaving his bike behind. Growing up in a family centered around recreational cycling, he eventually started riding his brother's bike.
During the 2006 season McCarty rode in the Giro for Phonak. After Phonak folded, he was offered a spot on Team Slipstream.
