Talk:Pastor Michael Stowell

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article looks great! I see no conflict of interest, or resume like properties. Are you sure you aren't picking on this guy because he is a minister. I think that is called religious discrimination!

[edit] Neutrality

The Pastor Mike Stowell article looks neutral. It states some clear facts of his accomplishments and it cites references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.235.173.68 (talk) 18:31, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Conflict of Interest, neutrality, and resume

I have viewed many of your articles on people in Wikipedia and I do not see where Pastor Mike Stowell's is any different. The author has listed Pastor Mike's accomplishments, his education and has cited references (i.e. newspaper articles, and websites). The guy has accomplished enough for a lifetime of four people. I am amazed that someone at Wikipedia would throw so many tags on this article. Does someone in your organization have a problem with this guy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.235.173.68 (talk) 15:12, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Mr. Stowell's article is obsolete. He is no longer the lead pastor of Brightside Church. The "mental health clinic" which is referred to in article closed short of one year of operation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jarnigin (talk • contribs) 02:04, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

I do not think that there is any indication of discrimination because Mr. Stowell states he is a minister. I believe the content of the article raised a lot of questions in those that reviewed its contents, which accounts for numerous tags and questioning of the inclusion of this article in Wikipedia. It appears to be misleading, and based on current verifiable facts, it is misleading.Jarnigin (talk) 02:16, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
