How can this article not be notable, when it has AT THE VERY LEAST been independently reviewed by (1) The Times (which has a daily circulation of nearly 700,000), (2) the BBC ('nuff said) (3) Wanderlust - the UK's best travel magazine in my opinion (4) Conde Nast - the UK's best travel magazine in a lot of peoples' opinion???????
Furthermore, some 13,000 people think it's notable enough that they've joined the website and use it regularly so forgive me if I don't agree with you!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sklipper (talk • contribs) 17:25, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Hello :)
I think it's alright to hold on to this page -- it's got a couple of good endorsememnts!
The relevant criterion is as stated below:
- The website or content has won a well-known and independent award from either a publication or organization.[1]
The article asserts that the site does meet this criterion, but fails to source the assertion. Thus, this article is no longer eligible for speedy deletion, however, if the relevant references are not inserted within a reasonable period, the article may be nominated for an Articles for Deletion discussion. --Blanchardb-MeMyEarsMyMouth-timed 16:34, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- ^ See Category:Awards for a partial list of notable awards. Being nominated for an award in multiple years is also considered an indicator of notability.
Forget what I just wrote. I got your message just as I clicked Save for mine. :-) --Blanchardb-MeMyEarsMyMouth-timed 16:36, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
