---> Im not quite sure 'Occitan' fits in here. He's just French, that's it. It's the first time ever I hear someone is referred to as "Occitan" (unless they are an activist of some kind, fighting for the cause of the"Occitan community" or whatever it is, but it's a different matter) and to be honest it really sticks out in a weird kind of way. So Id say theres no need for details.
What do you guys think?
