Pasuvanthanai

Pasuvanthanai is a panchayat town in Toothukudi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

It has a beautiful big Kailasanathar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple was constructed in the year 1245 AD. The annual car festival draws people from in and around the district.

The annual festival of Arulmigu Sri Pathirakali Amman temple draws the villagers who have migrated to distant cities like chennai, madurai for work.
