Past performances

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"PAST PERFORMANCES- A compilation in Daily Racing Form of a horse's record, including all pertinent data, as a basis for handicapping." Daily Racing Form

Term used in Horse Racing. Past Performances appear on Horse Racing programs such as DRF [(Daily Racing Form)], Equibase, and Brisnet. Information on Jockeys, Trainers, date of races, finishes in races, speed figures, odds, and much more of the last 10 races are provided to give handicappers a sense of history and information to bet with.

Todd Pletcher, the most famous, successful horse trainer right now posts the performances of all the races his horses run in online for free, (typically the cost is $2.50 for a race card).
