[edit] Geography
Residents of the area use 'Pasadena' to refer to a larger area than the official CDP, typically anything in the 21122 ZIP code or on the Pasadena Pennisulk. This makes other CDP's, including Green Haven, Armiger, Riviera Beach, Orchard Beach; and occasionally Gibson Island areas within Pasadena. Pasadena is located in Anne Arundel County in Central Maryland, on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.
Also, Pasadena contains the largest plot of undeveloped land between Baltimore and Annapolis. Over half of the undeveloped land is currently held in trust by the county, the other half is owned by a private owner since the mid 1930s
