Does that sentence in the first paragraph mean park tae hwan in based in Melbourne or that he's just there for FINA Championships?

No, that's not true. He's only in Melbourne for the FINA Championships. He's still based in Korea. --DandanxD 09:44, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I agree with that. Channel 9 said he only came to Melbourne one week before the Championships, so I think it is likely that he is only here for the FINA Championships.
