A writer and director experience in a wide variety of theater, video, film projects, Parthiban Shanmugam has performed and won several awards world wide at prestigious festivals and theaters.[citation needed] Trained as a Defense and Strategic analyst, lawyer, human rights advocate, stand up comic and story teller, he comes from an extensive creative background. He has focused his career on the emerging south Asian culure in the USA. Parthi has been exposed to variety of creative influences from modern western art, eastern philosophy to literature, Hollywood, Bollywood, and everything in between.
