Paromita Chatterjee (born April 15 1974) is an Indian anchor appearing in CNN-IBN, the 24 hour general English news channel based in New Delhi. Previously, she was anchor of CNBC-TV18, an Indian channel which is a partnership between the popular TV channel CNBC of USA and TV-18, an Indian company.

She lives in New Delhi where CNBC-TV18 and CNN-IBN studios are based. Previously, she appeared for shows like Bazaar and India market wrap. More recently she appeared on the Reporter's diary in 2.00 p.m. IST and Business lunch 1.00 p.m. IST. Now, she appears on Good afternoon India on CNN-IBN at 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.. and Last Trade from 3.00 P.m. to 4.00 p.m. Apart from anchoring television news programs, Paromita also moderates shows like All about the Money. She has studied Economics (bachelors) in Lady Shri Ram College for Women in New Delhi and has done a Masters degree in film and television production in Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi. She is also a producer apart from an anchor. She is proficient in several languages, she speaks fluent Bengali, Hindi, Oriya, French and Bahasa. She is a staunch supporter of animal rights and was an active SPCA member during her college days.
