Parnassius patricius is a high altitude butterfly which is found in Kirghizia and Turkmenistan (Turkestanin older literature). It is a member of the Snow Apollo genus Parnassius of the Swallowtail (Papilionidae) family. The larva feeds on Cysticorydalis fedtschenkoana.
