Park Hall (football ground)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Park Hall Stadium is the home ground of The New Saints in Oswestry.
Oswestry Town first used the formerly Council-owned stadium on 28 August 1993 but, after that club's financial problems and the merger with TNS, it fell into disrepair and was purchased by Mike Harris.
Completely redeveloped at a cost of more than £3 million with a £445,000 grant from the Football Foundation, Park Hall now houses "The Venue", a leisure development, and the playing area was completely reconstructed with an artificial Ligaturf pitch which is FIFA 2* approved.
There are currently 250 temporary seats with plans to upgrade to 3,000 capacity in 2008.
The ground is fully floodlit with 500 Lux lights that can also be used at a lower, "community" setting for pitch hire.
