Paratomarctus is an extinct genus of Borophaginae. It contains two species, P. euthos and P. temerarius, and was first named by Wang in 1999. Paratomarctus is the first in the evolutionary sequence of: Paratomarctus to Carpocyon to Protepicyon to Epicyon to Borophagus.
