Zirakpur shall soon have the region's biggest mall, Paras Downtown Square. Located just near the new overhead bypass under construction on 'Y' form of Delhi-Chandigarh-Shimla highway on 3,50,000 sqft area, this shall become the hub of entertainment for the people living near Chandigarh, Patiala, Panchkula, and Ambala.

The project won the Best Commercial Property Award at the Indian Property Awards 2007 in November 2007, and the key-highlights include a four-screen multiplex by Adlabs, hypermarket, anchore store, sprawling food court, and children entertainment centre with many speciality restaurants.

The major brands that shall have their presence here include Pantaloon, Big Bazaar, Adlabs, Jumbo Electronics, Madura Garments, Liberty, Reid & Taylor, Nike, Woodland, Provogue, and many more.
