Parafluda is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). Its only described species, Parafluda banksi, is found from Panama to Argentina.
[edit] Name
The genus name is combined from Greek para "alongside" and the salticid genus Fluda (see also Pseudofluda). The species is named in honor of arachnologist Nathan Banks.
