Description

Parton Cemetery in Greenbrier, located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. This cemetery can be found via spur trail leading off the Old Settlers Trail, about a mile past the trailhead at Ramsey Prong Road. Benjamin Christenberry "Chris" Parton, whose tombstone is the pale one on the upper right, is the great-great-grandfather of country music singer Dolly Parton.
