Panemunė (pronunciation ; German: Übermemel) is a small town in Lithuania. It is situated on the banks of the Neman River opposite Sovetsk, 8 km south from Pagėgiai, in Tauragė County. It is a border checkpoint to Kaliningrad Oblast.
