    View to the west from the observation tower atop Aavasaksa hill in finnish Lapland. The wide Tornio river is flowing towards the left of the picture. The big village visible is Övertorneå-Matarengi in Sweden. On the far left the bridge marks one of the border points between Sweden and Finland.
  • Français :
    Vue vers l'ouest depuis la tour d'observation située au sommet de la colline d'Aavasaksa en Laponie finlandaise. La rivière Torne coule vers la gauche de la photo. Le principal village visible est Övertorneå-Matarengi, il est situé en Suède. A l'extrême gauche on peut voir le pont qui marque un des postes frontières entre la Finlande et la Suède.
