Deutsch: Ein Panavia Tornado (44+80) des Jagdbombergeschwaders 31 Boelcke der Bundesluftwaffe aus Nörvenich, Nordrhein-Westfalen, startet am 18. Juli 2004 von der Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska (USA). Der Tornado nahm an der 15-tägigen Übung Cooperative Cope Thunder teil, der größten multinationalen Übung im Pazifik, an der zwölf Nationen beteiligt waren.
English: A Luftwaffe (German Air Force) Panavia Tornado aircraft (s/n 44+80) of the Jagdbombergeschwader 31 (31st Fighter-Bomber Wing) Boelcke, based at Noervenich, Northrhine-Westphalia, Germany, takes off from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska (USA), on 18 July 2004. The aircraft took part in exercise Cooperative Cope Thunder, the largest multinational air combat training exercise in the Pacific. This 15-day exercise simulated wartime combat conditions so that military personnel from 12-nations could sharpen their air fighting skills, exchange air operational tactics, and build closer relations with each other.
