Panang Beef Curry - Poppy Thai AUD18.90 --- Jaslyn wanted Thai for her birthday, as so we went to Poppy Thai.

The Thai food was quite good, very rich, creamy, and full of coconut. The spices were a bit toned down though, which is probably why I think [ Ying Thai 2, in Lygon Street, Carlton] is still my favourite Thai place in Melbourne.

The serves of the main dishes were quite decent too, but the tom yum soup was a bit steep at AUD7.90 for a small bowl.

Raymond also picked up a Black Forest cake from Cake World for dessert.

This was followed by a bit of Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix to work off the dinner and cake!
