The discussion of historical context seems overly hasty. For example, how do you objectively talk about "opposition from the major textbook companies"? Also, how does one justify the claims made about the "overall legibility of American handwriting"? These sound like points of view, not objective claims. If they are common points of view, then it is great to include them, but then citations are needed to back them up. Unfortunately, I do not know enough to contribute any specific information. --Lexspoon 14:39, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
