[edit] Alumni?

The following is copied from an IP's talk page, as the IP has at least once rotated and I'm not sure the recipient will get it there:

You are correct in the assertion that Wikipedia is not a playground. The editors removing your list of alumni from Palm Harbor University High School have asked you repeatedly to justify the inclusion of these names in the article. Internet research has not revealed any of these people as notable, and Mike Halterman's research turned up only one notable alumnus: a soap actress, Crystal Hunt. All your list does is lengthen the article by including what appears to someone who did not attend the school to be a list of your classmates. As a general rule of thumb, if a person would not be considered notable enough to have their own Wikipedia article, they probably aren't a notable alumnus.
The repeated restoration of nonsensical or inappropriate content to a Wikipedia article is vandalism and has already led to your being blocked on another IP address. I won't even get into circumventing a block. --[[User:Moralis|Moralis]8=====0 07:53, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Chuck Norris :D

Palm Harbor is too young to have many prominent alumni. I added a template to the page and removed the long list of people who have graduated from PHUHS, but done nothing else. I think we won states for girls soccer in 2000, but I can't remember.Airpear 18:58, 28 August 2007 (UTC) Also please don't randomly add people to the alumni section unless they have a wikipedia page.

[edit] useless lock

I see no reason to lock this article. Connör (talk) 20:46, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

The article was locked to keep people from adding list of themselves and their friends to the article. It had become a problem. If you look at the history of the article you would see it.Airpear 00:23, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] various programs

I think it would be worthwhile to mention Palm Harbor's various magnet programs in its own separate section with far greater detail than present. It is a significant part of the school's identity; the school was built for the purpose of housing magnet programs and it is part of the school's logo or 'crest'. - KS Dec. 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.22.77.96 (talk) 23:27, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
