Palm Beach Gardens Community High School was built in 1969 as a public high school in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. It is now a public magnet high school for grades 9-12 The school mascot is the Gator. It is best known for its athletics and additionally its medical magnet program. Palm Beach Gardens High School is currently under construction to build a new school to replace the 1969 campus. The first concrete was poured on March 17, 2007. Construction is planned to be complete in 30 months

Palm Beach Gardens' academic program is based on local School District of Palm Beach County policy, standards of the Florida Board of Education, and accreditation criteria issued by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Students are required to take 14 semester credits each year during their four years in the following disciplines: English, Social Studies, a foreign language, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, life management, and the arts. Students may choose to take honors classes and some opt to enroll in the various Advanced Placement classes offered.
Optionally, students can participate in a community service component requiring students to complete 100 hours serving their community during their time in high school.

In 1974 the Gator football team went 11-0, its first season undefeated, and earned a play-off spot against Haines City High School. In 2005, the Gators won the Florida class 6A state championship in football. The softball team won back-to-back class 6A state championship titles in 2005 and 2006. The Gator lacrosse team recently climbed the tables to be the first place team in Florida club and has so far maintained their undefeated season.

- Joe Grahe, 1985 Graduate who is a member of the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame and played 5 years of Major League Baseball as a pitcher with the California Angels, Colorado Rockies, and Philadelphia Phillies from 1990-1999.
