Palm Beach Central High School

Palm Beach Central High School is a high school located in Wellington, Florida in the Palm Beach County School District. Opened in 2003, Palm Beach Central has approximately 3,000 enrolled students for the 2007-2008 school years. The Bronco baseball team is one of the premier programs in the country with head coach Scott Benedict having more than 400 career wins. The team has won four consecutive district titles and has been to the regional finals in each of those seasons. The Bronco lacrosse team also has been one of the more successful sports teams at Palm Beach Central, Coach Mike Galvin and Billy Allen both played college lacrosse and have won championships. However, the worst sport program from Palm Beach Central is Football. It will continue to decline further as the years go by due to poor coaching and no commitment. The boys lacrosse program has tons of potential and is already named district champions for the 2009 season.

Another team that has been quite successful is the JV boys and varsity girls teams, in fact the JV boys soccer team went undefeated last season.
