PakPassion.Net [1] (popularly referred to as PP) is a website and forum founded in 2000 which is dedicated in general to the sport of cricket and specifically to the exciting and unpredictable brand of cricket that the Pakistani team is rather infamous for. PP is the first stop for any cricket fan because it’s dynamic and fast moving Cricket Forum [2] is always the first with all the latest news and results.

With over 6,500 registered members, more than 20,000 unique visitors per month and a massive 1.2 million page views (hits) per month; PP is by far the largest web forum dedicated to Pakistani cricket! It’s readership is made up of ordinary fans, cricket journalists, coaching staff and the players themselves!

One of the most popular features on PakPassion.Net is the Exclusive Interviews [3] section which is unique because the fans themselves are the ones who submit the questions that are asked in the interview. This has made for some really in-depth and incredibly interesting interviews with huge personalities like Bob Woolmer, Saqlain Mushtaq, Wasim Bari, Aaqib Javed, Mushtaq Ahmed, Aamir Sohail, Rana Naved Ul Hasan and many other interesting figures related to the world of cricket.

Over the last couple of years PakPassion.Net has begun to be recognised in the Media as a voice for Pakistani cricket fans. PP has been quoted and/or featured in the Guardian, the Independent, the Pakistani daily paper ‘Dawn’ and English weekly the Eastern Eye amongst several other publications. PP staff and members have also represented PP with appearances on Chicago Radio and on a televised cricket show in the UK on Venus TV. More details can be found on the PP in the Media [4] page.

The PP Gallery [5] is often overlooked which is a real shame because it contains hundreds of pictures of Pakistani cricket taken by the members of PP.

PP also has a section called Time Pass [6] which is a very lively off topic forum that has featured in several blogs and a few newspaper articles on it’s own merit. There are lively and in-depth debates on politics, religion and life in general which often offer great insights on the Pakistani perspective on world issues!

If you’re interested in cricket then you should visit PakPassion.Net for a greater understanding of both the game and the fans that drive the game!
