Paid (1930) is a film starring Joan Crawford, Marie Prevost, Polly Moran, Robert Armstrong, and Kent Douglass. The film is based on the play, Within the Law by Bayard Veiller. In the film Crawford plays Mary Turner, a wrongly accused ex-convict, who seeks revenge, within the law, on those who sent her to prison. It was remade in Bollywood as the hit film Intequam (1969) starring Sadhana (actress).
