Talk:PagePlus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I had a version of pageplus that ran under CP/M on my Amstrad PCW 8512 in the late 1980's so the introductory statement about 1991 is incorrect.

That must have been a different product with the same name. We changed our product name from AdEase to PagePlus after I joined Serif in 1990. Iirc, I came up with the name and we launched in late 1990, but it's a couple lifetimes ago... love, raiph 04:51, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

I remeber this well as I sold my Raleigh Aero framed BMX for £80 which was enough to buy the add on module which connected to the PCW's 2ndary printer port, and a three button mouse, with the pagpeplus software. We used this to produce a magazine discussing BBC micro and electron games.

Little did I know that these 8-bit machines, CP/M, DOS and the rest would result in me working for IBM prodcing the bleeding edge in virtualization 20 years later
