I think the following content should be added to this page

[edit] ================================

A new section --> People (belong to Paddhari)

A new section --> Historical Facts

  • Shri Pragateshwar Mahadev Mandir - The temple of Lord shiva situated at border of Paddhari and Movaiya (a village near by). The story behind the temple is published as an article in a Gujarati Newspaper and can be found at http://www.harilalupadhyay.org/pragateshwar.php

A new section --> Celebration/Religious stuff

  • As Navratri (First 10 days of the Aaso (or Ashwin) month (as per the Hindu calendar) is considered as very devine days. During these days people plays Dandiya (and other folk dance) and sing Garba (the devine songs- a kind of prayer). The festival is celebrated with very cheerfulness in this town. There is one Garbi (place where people does the celebration) of Males only (which is very rare to found) is running since so many years that almost 4 generations of so many families are associated with it.
  • Katha and Yagna at Pragateshwar Mahadev Mandir - This tradition is started by Shastriji and is running since then. During entire Shravan Month (The holy month) the Katha has been scheduled and on the last day of the month one Yagna is scheduled in which one person of each brahmin family of the town takes part as the karmakandi.

If any admin have any suggestion please let me know. In case it found appropritate (as it is based on facts) please let me know so it can be added to the page. In future the information regarding schools of Paddhari will be collected. Also there is a bookset named "Padta GadhNa Padchhaya" (meaning shadows of falling castles) - by Harilal Upadhyay is there; let me know if the reference of the same can be added (as Harilal Upadhyay's work contains the details, putting details for the same is obvious, but on the other hand I don't want the stuff can be considered as SPAM anyway, because it is not meant any spamming intention).

Please advise. Thanks!!!
