Padraig O'Laoi signed for Kildare County F.C. after his release from Galway United F.C. in February of 2007. O' Laoi had originally joined Kildare County on trial and impressed current manager John Ryan resulting in him been offered a permanent contract. He made only a handful of appearances for the Galway United senior team but was a regular for the clubs under 21s. He was released by Kildare County during the 2007 season without making a single appearance for the club.
