[edit] InterStream Gateways

There were three InterStream gateways on PSS. InterStream 1 was the gateway to the Telex network allowing the sending and receiving of Telexs by PSS subscribers. The Telex network was made to look like an X.25 network with a DNIC of 2348. Another was an ISDN packet mode interface which ran on a GEC 4000 series minicomputer, but I believe it was only made available to some customers. I cannot remember what the third InterStream gateway was, although I did know some ~15 years ago. They were called InterSteam 1, InterStream 2, and InterStream 3, but apart from InterStream 1, I also can't remember anymore which was which. 81.187.74.206 15:29, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
