Pact of forgetting

Pact of Forgetting (Spanish: el pacto de olvido) is the Spanish political process of avoiding having Spain deal with the legacy of Fascism after the 1975 death of Gen. Francisco Franco, the only fascist dictator to emerge from WWII who simply continued in power with his political movement largely intact.
