Paco Ignacio Taibo I (born 19 July 1924 in Gijón, Asturias), birth name Francisco Ignacio Taibo Lavilla González Nava Suárez Vich Manjón, is a prolific Spanish/Mexican writer and journalist.
He has been the director and founder of the cultural section of El Universal, the oldest Mexican newspaper.
