Pa. Vijay

Pa. Vijay (Tamil: பா. விஜய்) is a Tamil language poet who writes lyrics for songs for films. Most recently he has written two songs in Sivaji: The Boss for the music of A. R. Rahman. He has also won the National Film Award for Best Lyrics in India for his performance of Ovvoru Pookalume in Cheran's Autograph. He is a great poet in Tamil

He recently came to Toronto with legends like S.P Balsubramaniam and K.Jesudas and hosted the program smoothly.
He is the lyricist for the famous song "Ovvoru pookalumey" in the Autograph movie. The best thing about that song is that that song is sung everyday in prayer in a rural school in India
