p7zip is a port of the command line version of the 7-Zip file archiver—famous for its introduction of the high-compression LZMA format—to POSIX-conforming operating systems, such as Unix, Linux, FreeBSD, Windows NT (or greater version) and Mac OS X. It is free software, available under the GNU Lesser General Public License.
