[edit] Advert
The extended menu bit reads like an ad.... 68.11.135.130 02:14, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. I've rephrased this passage to sound a bit more encyclopedic. Also, please sign your comments so we know who's talkin! Nortelrye 00:41, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Menu pricing
I've added a bit of info about how many restaurants there are and how much food costs. I think it makes sense to say, from the information on the website, that PF chang's is cheaper than an average chain restaurant-- $9 as a maximum price for a menu item, presumably an entree, is a lot cheaper than most big chain dinner-type restaurants. Maybe not accurate since I've never been to a PF Chang's.
-I don't think it makes sense to say that because you typically need to order more than one, or will share with a group, etc. It's better not to comment at all. I deleted that passage.

- Extended menu is gone at my local location in Knoxville, TN. Anybody else notice that? I miss the flaming wontons already. Additionally, PF Chang's is cheaper than what chain restaurant exactly? It costs more than say, Applebee's or Chili's...about even with Outback or Olive Garden though. User:MrGalt
[edit] Rice
Could somebody please add the type of brown rice that PF Chang's serves? It isn't your typical brown rice.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:PFChangsLogo.jpg
Image:PFChangsLogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:16, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Moving In popular culture section here
I suppose this should be deleted outright from the article, but I'm moving it here to this talk page. --Pixelface 22:20, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] In popular culture
- In the South Park episode "A Million Little Fibers," Towelie gets fired from his position at this restaurant for being high on the job.
- In the "South Park" episode "More Crap," Stan's dad gets constipated from eating P.F. Changs, and takes the biggest crap in history.
- On the Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner, P.F. Chang's is mentioned as one of the reasons for Shatner's weight gain.
- On The O.C., P.F. Chang's is mentioned by the character Summer Roberts to be an idea for a first date, though she doubts that they have one in Chino, California, Ryan's hometown (Season 1, Episode 10).
- On the "Drake and Josh" episode, "The Storm", Gavin asks Mrs. Parker if she wants to go to "B.F. Wang's" with him and split some mushu.
- Can I ask why this stuff shouldn't be in the main article? Muzzamo 06:39, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

- Adding to that the company likes the fact that they have been mentioned on South Park and publicly admit that it's a kind of flattery to them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.168.253.53 (talk) 20:58, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Proposal to move popular culture stuff back to main article
What do people think of this? Having it in the talk page doesn't make much sense Muzzamo 03:51, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- no one has opposed this so I'm just going to do it Muzzamo 04:35, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
The popular culture stuff doesn't belong in the article because it has no relevance to P.F. Chang's. What I mean by that is you don't need to know anything about South Park to have a comprehensive understanding of what sort of restaurant P.F. Chang's is, how their business is structured, etc. If they decided to sue South Park's creators for the episode about someone getting constipated from eating there, then that would be notable enough to include in the article. Sure, trivia is fun, but we're supposed to be writing an encyclopedia here. Eseymour 23:44, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
