[edit] Czech / translated versions of the names

I am a newbie to the wikipedia and thus I am not sure about wiki conventions, but from what I saw up to now, wiki usually prefers names in the original language. In this context I am not sure about names Wenceslaus, Sobeslaus, Boleslaus, Vladislaus which in original Czech should be Václav, Soběslav, Boleslav, Vladislav. Other names seems to be in Czech. Is there any other reason to keep translations of those names? --Jan Smolik 12:34, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
